Best Director award in London, UK
I'm excited to share with you guys that I've just won the Best Director of a Feature Documentary award from The London International Filmmaker Festival 2019!
The recognition for my work as the creator and director of the documentary The Fit Generation came as a positive surprise amongst 13 finalists in that category. Our film was also a finalist for Best Feature Documentary and for Best Cinematography in a Documentary.
The festival also featured an interview about our film in the Film Magazine (page 40), in which readers are able to learn a bit more about this passion project produced by Eyes Multimedia - Photography and Video Production. Here is a screenshot of the magazine:
With this accomplishment, the film has now a total of four awards in film festivals worldwide:

This recognition means a lot to me and the entire team of professionals and volunteers who have been involved in the creation of this inspiring documentary about the lives of active seniors on Canada's West Coast.
The film challenges our concepts of aging and it inspires people to stay active as they age. It is going to be released to the public within the next few months. Stay tuned!
